Clients compare before they choose
The profession is big and growing again, many lawyers are early in their careers, and more clients compare before they choose. Your card has to be easy to save, easy to find again and easy to pass along.

The US count comes from the ABA's National Lawyer Population Survey, the career figure from the OAB's 2023 profile of Brazil's lawyers, carried out with FGV, and the comparison figure from a 2026 survey of 3,802 legal services users in England and Wales.
From the first consultation to the courthouse
Six places a lawyer hands over contact details, and where a digital card saves a step.
First consultations
Let a new client scan your Contact QR code before they leave, so your direct line and email are saved to their phone.
At the courthouse
Swap details with opposing counsel or co-counsel by QR code, and scan the paper cards you're handed with the AI card scanner.
Referrals from colleagues
Send your card link to the lawyers, accountants and advisors who refer clients to you. When they pass it on, it shows your current details.
Bar events and courses
Share by QR code or NFC card at bar association meetings, legal conferences and continuing legal education courses.
Video consultations
Paste your card link in the chat, so a client you've only met on screen can save your details.
Email and letters
Add your card link to your email signature, so every message carries your direct line and office address.
Let clients ask for a consultation
Your card's lead form collects just enough to get back to someone. Leave the facts of a case for the consultation: ClickCard is a contact tool, not a case file.
They scan or tap
A prospective client opens your card from your QR code, an NFC card or the link in your email. It opens in any browser, with a button to save your contact.
They pick the type of matter
Your form asks for a name and a way to reach them, plus a dropdown you write, such as adoption, divorce or other. Rename, reorder or remove the standard fields so it asks only what you need.
You get back to them
The request reaches the ClickCard app with a push alert and your inbox by email. Mark it Contacted once you've replied, then Won or Lost when they decide.

What to put on a lawyer's card
Clients look for who you are and how to reach you; colleagues look for where you're admitted.
- Your name and the bars you're admitted to
- Your firm, with its office address
- Your practice areas
- A direct line and email
- Your website or booking page
- The languages you work in, in your bio
- A form for consultation requests
Your template sets which fields and how many links fit. Your bar's advertising rules may cover your card as they do a paper one, so check them before you share it. When something changes, edit the card and the same link and QR code show the update, with nothing to reprint. See how digital and paper cards compare.
The ClickCard features lawyers use most
Each one is on the free plan unless it's marked Pro.
Saved before they leave
Your Contact QR code downloads your details as a contact file, so a client saves you to their phone at the end of a consultation.
Paper cards, read for you
Snap a colleague's or opposing counsel's paper card and AI reads it in seconds, in more than 70 languages. 3 free AI card scans a month, unlimited with Pro.
A form without case details
Rename, reorder, require or remove the standard fields, so a consultation request asks for a name, a way to reach them and the type of matter, and nothing more.
New office, same link
Moved offices or added a bar admission? Edit your card and the update shows on the same link and QR code. Nothing to reprint.
A link with your name
ProSwap the automatic link for one you choose, like clickcard.me/yourname, easy to print on letterhead or say on a call.
256-bit AES encryption
The data in your ClickCard account, your leads included, is protected with 256-bit AES encryption and backed up every day.
Cards for every lawyer at your firm
With a ClickCard company account, a firm manages every lawyer's card from one dashboard.
Templates in your firm's brand
Templates in your brand, designed with our team, with names and job titles locked so every card reads the way the firm expects.
Cards for every new hire
Import new lawyers from a spreadsheet, create their cards from a template in one go, and send each a welcome email with a link to the app.
Single sign-on
Company accounts can sign in through your identity provider with SAML single sign-on, set up with our team.
When a lawyer moves on
When someone leaves the firm, their card's link redirects to your company page instead of a dead end.
The app is very practical, quite different from the others.
Questions lawyers ask
About bar rules, photos, consultation requests and cards for a whole firm.
Still have questions?
Can lawyers use a digital business card?
Yes. It's one more way to tell people how to reach you, so check your bar's advertising rules as you would for a paper card. Brazil's bar, the OAB, for example, expressly allows electronic business cards with a QR code, but not handing cards out indiscriminately in public places, in person or online, outside legal events.
Can I leave my photo off my digital business card?
Yes, unless your template requires one: the profile picture is a field like any other, and you can put your firm's logo there instead. Some bars restrict photos: in Brazil, the OAB's Code of Ethics doesn't allow personal photos on a lawyer's business card.
How do I show my bar admissions on my card?
List them after your job title or in your bio, in the fields your template offers, with your bar number if you'd like it there. An edit shows on your link and QR code right away.
Should clients describe their case in my card's form?
No. Ask for a name, a way to reach them and, if you like, the type of matter. Leave the facts for the consultation, and keep client files in your firm's own systems.
How does a law firm manage its lawyers' cards?
With a company account. ClickCard designs templates in your firm's brand, admins create everyone's cards from a spreadsheet and can lock names and job titles, and when a lawyer leaves, their card's link redirects to your company page. Company accounts can also sign in with SAML single sign-on, set up with our team.
